This is a map of the distribution of all major world religions. Different religions are represented by different colours. This is a clear way of showing the location of different religions.... (Click on the map to see it in greater detail)

I have spent some time looking at this distribution map, Sarah. It is really informative. I became curious to know how one might represent all the shades/diversity within what is represented on this map. It would be quite a task! Prompted by this curiosity I decided to watch a BBC 2 programme on Friday 2nd Jan called, 'Around the World in 80 Faiths'. The guy who did it covered 10 faiths in the first programme. The other 70 will be covered in the rest of the series and I hope to follow it as I found the first programme fascinating. It was done in a very engaging and balanced way. See what your blog has started! You have certainly chosen a topic that can touch the lives of so many people and can give rise to interesting exchanges and comments. I look forward to seeing further comments and additions.
